Inspiration... perseverance

These You-Tube Ironman videos inspired me to embark on this challenge and dedicate such a huge amount of training - to celebrate the 20 years of dedication with which the Razzett and Eden support the Maltese community.

After running the London Marathon 2008 to help raise awareness and funds for the Razzett tal-Hbiberija (Malta) and Aspire (UK) I was overwhelmed by the show of support I received from friends and family.

I felt as though I had 'cheated' a little because I missed out on a lot of training that would have made my effort more rewarding. I felt that I would have to put more in - in the hope of getting more out - by way of donations and awareness to the cause. Hense this greater challenge!

The "Razzett' and 'Eden' Foundations are household names thanks to the dedication and insight of their founders; and the employees and volunteers that every day focus on making the world a better place for disabled persons. Together as one, they do so with dedication and enthusiasm, and it's an honour to work with them.

I truly hope to enthuse you, and encourage you to support this worthwhile charity, whilst I count the miles in the water, on the bike and on the road.

With me, are Malta's cream of the crop. The top local triathletes will be aiming for Ironman Austria next year. A contingent of 9 athletes will dare the gruelling 226km distance and make Malta proud! Visit the team page for more info.
